We’re partnering with a leading marketing agency based in Cambridge that’s continuing to grow and invest in its client services team. Known for its collaborative culture and people-first approach, this agency works with purpose and takes real pride in doing things properly, both internally and for its clients.
They’re now looking for a Marketing Account Executive to support the smooth delivery of client accounts and projects. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their agency career who’s keen to build strong foundations, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive environment.
This role requires candidates to hold a degree in a core scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, biochemistry or biomedical science. A strong scientific foundation is essential for understanding the content and contributing effectively from day one.
The role:
As Marketing Account Executive, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of accounts and projects, working closely with colleagues across the business, as well as clients and external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of client projects from briefing through to completion
Acting as a day-to-day contact for allocated accounts
Attending client meetings and producing clear, accurate notes
Assisting with budgets, timelines and project documentation
Coordinating with internal teams to ensure deadlines and standards are met
Supporting quality review processes across all deliverables
You’ll be encouraged to take ownership, ask questions and develop your confidence, with senior team members on hand to support you.
What we’re looking for
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Clear and confident written and verbal communication
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
A degree in Life Sciences, Communications, Marketing or a related field is desirable
Why apply?
This is a chance to join a well-established marketing agency that genuinely prioritises its people. You’ll be supported, trusted and encouraged to grow, without the pressure of long hours or rigid ways of working. The benefits are designed to support your career, wellbeing and life outside of work, not just your output.
Generous holiday allowance, plus additional time off
Flexible and hybrid working
Private healthcare, including mental wellbeing support
Clear development and progression support
A collaborative, people-first agency culture
Location

Because of this structure, you’ll be in the office regularly to collaborate with the team and be involved in the creative process, so this role would suit someone living in or around Cambridge, Newmarket, Ely, Royston, St Neots, Huntingdon, Duxford, Whittlesford or other commutable locations within Cambridgeshire.
