We’re partnering with a fast-growing, boutique digital agency that helps ambitious SMEs scale through smart, data-led marketing. They’re now looking for a Senior Account Manager/Account Director to join the team and take a leading role across client delivery, strategy and agency operations.
The client is open to both full-time applications and candidates looking to work part-time on a 3 days per week basis.
This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll own key client relationships, including a flagship multi-location food brand, while also contributing to how the agency grows and evolves.
The role
In this role, you’ll sit at the heart of client delivery and agency operations. You’ll be responsible for:
Leading strategy and day-to-day management for a flagship food sector client, focused on driving footfall and sales
Managing a wider portfolio of B2B and B2C accounts, ensuring performance targets are met
Overseeing complex, multi-channel campaigns across paid media, social and SEO
Coordinating internal teams and specialist partners to deliver work on time and on brief
Supporting Directors with process improvement, new business activity and client onboarding
What we’re looking for
This role would suit someone who enjoys combining strategy with execution. Ideally, you’ll bring:
5–7+ years’ experience in a digital or marketing role, inhouse for a brand, or agency side
Experience driving footfall or sales for retail, hospitality or multi-location brands
Strong project and account management skills, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders
A solid understanding of paid media, social and SEO, with an integrated mindset
Confidence presenting strategy, insights and performance to senior stakeholders
Why apply?
This is a chance to step into a senior role within a growing agency where you’ll have genuine ownership, influence and visibility. You’ll work remotely with flexible hours, be trusted to shape how things are done, and play a meaningful role in the agency’s next phase of growth, all within a collaborative, supportive team that values initiative over hierarchy.
Location
This role follows a hybrid working pattern, with at least one day per week based in the Hertfordshire office. You’ll need to be able to travel to the office, making the role commutable from Watford and surrounding areas, including St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Hitchin, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Letchworth, Hatfield, Borehamwood, and other parts of Hertfordshire, as well as nearby areas of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and North London.
Please include your current or preferred location, salary expectations, and notice period when applying. CVs in Microsoft Word format are preferred (avoid textboxes or images to ensure accurate matching).
