We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing charity that’s doing powerful work to support individuals and families experiencing hardship.

In a period of growth, they are now seeking a proactive and creative Fundraising Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for relationship-building and income generation to help diversify and grow a charity’s fundraising portfolio from the ground up.

About the Role:

As the Fundraising Officer you will lead fundraising activity across a range of income streams, including:

  • Trusts and foundations

  • Community and events fundraising

  • Individual giving

  • Corporate partnerships

You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering campaigns, managing supporter relationships, and helping to establish sustainable funding that enables the charity to meet increasing demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage fundraising campaigns across multiple channels

  • Write compelling funding applications and secure grants

  • Cultivate relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups, and individual donors

  • Deliver community talks, fundraising events, and supporter engagement activities

  • Monitor fundraising performance, track income, and report to leadership

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and fundraising regulations

  • Create engaging digital content to drive awareness and giving

For this position, our client is looking for someone with…

  • Experience in fundraising or relevant transferable skills from marketing, sales, or community engagement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement

  • Confidence using digital tools, social media, and CRM systems

  • A driving licence and access to a car for occasional travel
