In a period of growth, they are now seeking a proactive and creative Fundraising Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for relationship-building and income generation to help diversify and grow a charity’s fundraising portfolio from the ground up.
About the Role:
As the Fundraising Officer you will lead fundraising activity across a range of income streams, including:
Trusts and foundations
Community and events fundraising
Individual giving
Corporate partnerships
You’ll be responsible for creating and delivering campaigns, managing supporter relationships, and helping to establish sustainable funding that enables the charity to meet increasing demand.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage fundraising campaigns across multiple channels
Write compelling funding applications and secure grants
Cultivate relationships with local businesses, schools, community groups, and individual donors
Deliver community talks, fundraising events, and supporter engagement activities
Monitor fundraising performance, track income, and report to leadership
Ensure compliance with GDPR and fundraising regulations
Create engaging digital content to drive awareness and giving

Experience in fundraising or relevant transferable skills from marketing, sales, or community engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement
Confidence using digital tools, social media, and CRM systems
A driving licence and access to a car for occasional travel
