We’re partnering with a pioneering technology business to appoint a Product Manager into a crucial role, to step into a key role that’s been carefully shaped and developed, with a smooth handover planned in the coming months.

This is a great opportunity to step into a high-responsibility, commercially focused role within a global organisation at the forefront of communication technology. You'll own a portfolio of complex products that genuinely make an impact, from initial concept to delivery and beyond.

The Role

Working alongside a team of product experts, you’ll lead on the full lifecycle of assigned products, shaping their strategy, translating user needs into features, and working with engineering and commercial teams to bring them to market. You’ll be a key voice in shaping product direction while making data-led decisions to maximise performance and return on investment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking full ownership of your product’s success, performance, and ROI across its lifecycle

  • Collaborating with technical and commercial teams to shape short- and long-term product strategy

  • Developing product roadmaps and maintaining a clear vision that aligns with business goals

  • Writing product requirements, documentation, and feature definitions clearly and concisely

  • Conducting market and competitor analysis to help steer product evolution

  • Presenting ideas, demonstrating concepts, and contributing to thought leadership across the organisation

Ideal experience:

  • Experience working with mobile networks, or mobile operating systems

  • Exposure to mission-critical tech or SaaS platforms

  • Experience with Android OS and app ecosystems

  • Knowledge of international markets or multi-language product environments

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a product management role, ideally within a technology-led environment

  • A degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Organised and able to manage multiple product timelines, updates, and development cycles

  • Experience leading on product documentation, briefs, and requirement specs

  • Confident presenting product concepts and results to internal and external stakeholders

Why apply?

You’ll be joining a global business with a strong reputation in its field and a long-standing track record of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions. This is your chance to step into a key role at a time of positive transition, with the opportunity to help shape the next phase of product development from the ground up.

***Applicants should also be prepared to undergo Security Clearance (SC) vetting, which will be supported by the company.***

Location

This role is based full-time on-site in Cambridgeshire based offices. It’s best suited to candidates based in Cambridge, Ely, St Ives, Huntingdon, Royston, Newmarket, Peterborough or other areas within Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle will be required, as occasional travel (including international) forms part of the role.
