We’ve partnered with a fantastic B2B business looking to bring a Sales Administrator into their office team.

This is a key role within the business, sitting at the centre of sales, customer communication and operations. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in staying organised, and is confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.

The Role

This is a varied and fast-paced position where you’ll support the day-to-day running of the sales office.

You’ll be involved in preparing and managing quotations, supporting order processing when needed, and acting as a key point of contact for cus

tomer enquiries. A big part of the role is keeping things moving, whether that’s coordinating with internal teams, responding to customers, or ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

There’s also an operational side to the role, supporting tender documentation, managing incoming enquiries, and helping ensure the wider sales function runs smoothly. You’ll be someone who can switch between tasks, stay organised, and keep a clear head when things get busy.

What we’re looking for

This role would suit someone with previous administrative experience, ideally within a commercial or customer-focused environment.

You’ll be naturally organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a varied workload. Strong communication skills are key, particularly over the phone, as you’ll be speaking with customers and internal teams regularly.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who takes ownership of your work, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps things moving behind the scenes.

Why apply?

  • You’ll sit at the centre of the sales function, giving you real exposure to how orders, customers and operations connect

  • You’ll build experience across multiple areas, from quotations and order support through to customer communication and coordination

  • The role offers long-term stability within a well-established business operating across UK and international markets

  • You’ll develop a strong understanding of commercial processes, which can open up broader opportunities over time

  • Your role will be genuinely relied upon, not just task-driven but integral to how the team operates

  • Alongside this, the package includes 24 days holiday plus your birthday off, pension contributions, and additional benefits.

Location

As this is an onsite role, five days a week in Ware, Hertfordshire, it would be best suited to someone within a comfortable commute across Hertfordshire and Essex, including Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Hertford, Cheshunt, Epping, Chelmsford, and surrounding areas.

Please include your current or preferred location, salary expectations, and notice period when applying. CVs in Microsoft Word format are preferred (avoid textboxes or images to ensure accurate matching). We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, actively promoting diversity across all minority groups to create workplaces where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered.
