​We’re partnering with a household brand as they embark on a bold CRM transformation across Europe. They’re building a brand new Customer Engagement division, and this is one of the very first hires into it.

This isn’t campaign delivery, it’s CRM architecture. That means you’ll be laying the foundations and building the platform from scratch, for how this business builds trust, personalisation and loyalty through every stage of the customer journey.

The Role:

  • This is a newly created role reporting into senior leadership, with one direct report to recruit and manage. You’ll lead the implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud across the business and design an adaptive, CRM model that can flex by market, but stays true to brand and commercial outcomes.

  • Define and lead the lifecycle strategy across acquisition, nurture, retention and reactivation

  • Own the consent and data governance strategy across channels, ensuring GDPR compliance and best-practice capture

  • Design and deliver a new CRM framework from the ground up, replacing legacy systems with modern infrastructure

  • Set clear KPIs around conversion, retention and ROI and regularly report on CRM performance across markets

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who’s helped stand up a CRM function from scratch, you know what’s needed before it exists

  • Proven experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar enterprise platform) at scale

  • Deep understanding of GDPR and consent management in a multi-market setting

  • Strategic thinker with strong technical and architectural understanding of CRM

  • Commercial mindset – you’ve delivered real business impact through retention, conversion, and ROI

Location:

This is a hybrid role based in Reading, Berkshire, with 3 days per week expected in the office. The location is easily commutable from across the Thames Valley region, including Bracknell, Wokingham, Maidenhead, Basingstoke, Newbury, High Wycombe, Slough, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Oxford, Guildford, and surrounding areas.
